Dear friends,
I would like to congratulate you with the 41st years
anniversary of the joint Russian Mongolian space flight and flight to the space
of Mongolian cosmonaut and wish you all the best with your business and
happiness in your life.
Due to the resolution No 160 of the year 2020 of the
Government of Mongolia, the Government commission headed by Minister of Defense
of Mongolia was established to organize in Mongolia all events related with the
40th years anniversary. This year we are also celebrating many
anniversaries of historical events in Mongolia.
In 2021 Russia and Mongolia celebrate the 100th
anniversary of the establishment of Russian-Mongolian diplomatic relations. The
joint Russian and Mongolian space flight and flight to the space of Mongolian
cosmonaut is historical event of these 100 years which symbolize the everlasting
friendships of the people of two countries.
The scientific conference “The space science and space
technologies” has been organized by scientists and engineers of Mongolia in
frame of the anniversary events. Participants to this conference presented the
recent results of the development of space technology in Mongolia and results
of academic studies on the remote sensing data, of the processing of high-quality
data form different satellites.
Different outreach programs on the state-of-the-art achievements of the
space science and space technologies in the World were organized for Mongolian
society. The e-lesson about the space science history, about the joint Russian-
Mongolian space flight, about the space technologies, and about the satellites was
prepared by Mongolian Academy of Sciences and demonstrated for pupils of all elementary
schools of Mongolia.
During
these days scientists and experts from the Government and Non-government
organizations, from academic institutes and universities exchanged their
thoughts and ideas on modernization and extension of future activities of the
Government Space Council, on the development of the space science in Mongolia, on
the establishment of the space laboratory in the Science and Innovation cluster
center which is planned to be built by the Government of Mongolia under the
Mongolian Academy of Sciences and many other Space science related issues. I am
sure that if we all together join our efforts and academic and technical
potentials and receive the full Government supports, we could develop the space
technology in our country and reach good results in the near future in the
International level.
I would
like to express my sincere appreciation to the Government of Mongolia, the
Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Education and Science of Mongolia, the Mongolian
Academy of Sciences and researchers and professors, all other people for their
efforts and supports in organizing in Mongolia the 41st years of
anniversary of the joint Russian Mongolian space flight and flight to the space
of Mongolian cosmonaut.
